A native of Los Angeles, Sam Donabedian studied and earned a degree in Criminology, Law and Society from the University of California, Irvine, and later his Juris Doctorate from the University of West Los Angeles School of law where he graduated with multiple Witkin awards and moot court honors. In 2018, Mr. Donabedian founded Donabedian Law, APC with the goal of providing individualized and passionate representation for his clients. Being raised in a family of lawyers, Mr. Donabedian learned from a young age the importance of dedicated and detail orientated representation. As a former college athlete, Mr. Donabedian was trained in believing that the words “dedication”, “drive”, “attention to detail”, and “discipline” are not just words, they are a way of life. Mr. Donabedian incorporates these attributes while representation his clients.
During the course of his law career, Mr. Donabedian has focused his practice on employment and personal injury law and litigation. Mr. Donabedian’s experience includes litigating class actions, representative actions under the Private Attorney General Act, collective actions under the Fair Labor Standards Act as well as representation for individuals and businesses in different areas of the California Labor Code, Fair Employment Housing Act, and California Wage Orders.
In addition to his devotion to his clients, Mr. Donabedian is also involved in the Armenian Bar Association and Consumer Attorney Association of Los Angeles. Mr. Donabedian also serves on the board of directors of the Armenian Professional Society.
Mr. Donabedian is admitted to the State Bar in California, and the U.S. District Court for the Central and Southern Districts of California.
